Welcome to the scenic gem of the Netherlands. Rotterdam is the envy of a lot of other European cities and upholds its long tradition of style, tradition and hospitality.
Any trip should include exploring the former estate of the van Hoboken family, which is now a public space known as Museum Park. It’s the place for views and relaxing, soaking in the atmosphere.
And as you keep exploring you’ll run into the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, a highly renowned and well-kept cultural space where exhibitions, collections and educational outreach all meet. It’s an amazing experience.
Cube Houses (Kijk-Kubus) are one of the most unique and captivating things you’ll see when it comes to architecture! Designed by Piet Blom it’s a poetic nod to contemporary urban living and we love that he wasn’t shy to really stand out!
We just hid to slip in Kinderdijk Windmills on the far east of Rotterdam. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this classic collection of 18th Century Windmills kept the environment dry for the locals and still stands today as they live in harmony with the surrounding waters and villages.
Rotterdam is an exceptional place to visit. With history, nature and rich heritage, you may not want to leave!
